We purchased a Jeep from BMC, car was ok but the heating stopped working on the way back home to London, after a while they said take it to a local garage and get it fixed we will pay for it, just don't take it to a Jeep Franchise, so that's what we did took it to a local 4 x 4 garage we have used for years, bill came to £500 which we sent to BMC, they tried everything to get out of paying, even denying they sent the email agreeing to pay for the work.
In the end we had to take them to court, of course we won they did not have a leg to stand on, but yet the £500 still remains outstanding, even with the court order, I'm sure many of the cars they sell never have a problem, but is it worth taking the risk if you buy a car with a problem, they were all smiles and as nice as pie when they took the money for the Jeep from us, that's where the customer service stopped, BUYERS BEWARE it could happen to you!!
